Back in N'Awlins

For those of you checking the blog, this is just to let you know we've all arrived safely. Today is the first day we've had internet access. Most of us are working on divorce and succession cases, and have been working out of the law offices of Phelps Dunbar. (Yes, divorce cases are an important post-Katrina issue, both in the sense of helping folks receive access to the full amount of the FEMA assistance and the unexpected increases in divorces in light of the stress of post-Katrina life.) Boz, Cory, and Dan are hitting the streets to find out what efforts are occuring to provide the community with information about their legal rights and available legal resources.

It's nice to be building on the work the first group did over December. We'll write more shortly, but just wanted to send a note that all is well.

  • Thanks to all for the for the blog updates.

    Sounds busy and productive.
